About the Minor
The Energy Engineering Minor at Duke was created to add breadth, depth, and diversity to enrolled students' educational experience by providing rigorous exposure to fundamentals of energy engineering.
Graduates will be well-prepared for careers focused on engineering solutions to energy-related issues, including energy generation, delivery, conversion and efficiency.
Five unique courses and one capstone design course must be completed to earn the Minor in Energy Engineering.
How to Apply
Deadline for Major Declaration (Class of 2018)
All Duke engineering undergraduates are eligible to participate in the Energy Engineering program and qualify for the minor. Completion of the minor is noted on the student's academic transcript.
Enroll by filling out the Pratt Major Declaration Form and selecting Energy Engineering from the "Minor in Pratt" drop-down menu.
